Yesterday Michael Prager of BoardMod (YaBB's modding & theme community), announced the creation of two new boards on the BoardMod forum... the FINAL Mods for YaBB 2.2 & BETA Mods for YaBB 2.2 boards.

It has been a long time since the last YaBB release. But it was worth the waiting as it comes with tons of features that were only available as mods in the past.
 

YaBB 2.2 has been officially released!  Exactly two years in the making, Corey Chapman (YaBB Project Leader and CEO of XIMinc) made the long-awaited announcement that YaBB 2.2 is ready to go live as an officially supported release to the public and YaBB community.

This release is a highly recommended update, as it closes a few high-level security issues.  Not only that, but it provides MANY new features.  Most notably include:  RSS feeds, user center, buddy list, enhanced private messaging, security and spam-fighting enhancements, advanced templating, media center, invisible mode, and much more....
