YaBB 2 - Feature Requests - Avatar preview / selection box
It seems to me that much of the coding is already there, in connection with the show more smilies box, so this might be really easy to do ... therefore I am going to suggest it as a nice (small) feature that might be easy to add to 2.3.1, as opposed to just asking about it as a possible mod, over on BoardMod.
If you go into your profile to select an avatar, currenty you get a small selection box, which you have to scroll through and click on any graphic you would like to see, to be able to select it for your avatar.
Wouldn't it be fairly easy to add a link which reads something like "Show all Avatars", and opens up a pop-up window like the add more smilies selector window, which will display all avatars at once, and let you select one.
This could be really helpful for forums with a large number of avatars available (especially those with cryptic names) ... and since it is a link you click on, instead of something automatic, it should have almost no effect on load times or anything like that unless you are actually choosing a new avatar.
Any thoughts?

YaBB 2 - Bugs [Fixed] - cook.txt
New Setup.pl in CVS.
The cook.txt file is now deleted at the end of the Setup. This file is not needed for YaBB to run.

YaBB 2 - Feature Requests - automatic language translation
I have many readers from across the globe. Unfortunately they don’t always have translation software of their own. It would be great if YaBB had in the upper right corner a button that said “Language” and next to it there was a drop down menu of languages in the native dialect. That would translate the entire page into that language.
C Panel has a similar feature but with flags.
I have used “Babel Fish” on my Home Page and it works if you go to my home page and use the “Babel Fish” translator first. However most users don’t go to my home page they come in on my BBS.
Hopefully this is the right forum to place this idea.
