Spikecity's recent media update for YaBB Media Center for YaBB 2.1 has also been applied to the CVS development version of YaBB 2.2.x.  So users will see additional media support in an upcoming version of YaBB.  Here are Spikecity's comments:

You'll be happy to know that I added the following formats to be supported in CVS (branch 2_2_x)

- flv format (raw url to the file on the server)
- Google Video format (google browser url to the movie)
- mp4 format (raw file url to the file on the server)
- divx format (raw file url to the file on the server)
- xdiv format (raw file url to the file on the server)

The last two need the correct codex to be installed on your PC in Windows Media player
