Corey Chapman, Administrator & Project Leader of YaBB, has announced that YaBB is in the running to be a nominee for the SourceForge.net 2008 Community Choice Awards. Here is the announcement from Corey: They're back! The SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards have returned for 2008 so you can recognize projects that stand taller than the rest.
We invite you to nominate YaBB until mid June. Remember that last year we won a nomination and narrowly missed winning an award!
The projects with the most nominations will become finalists, and the final vote will open in late June. Look for the Community Choice Awards nomination button at http://sourceforge.net/projects/yabb or click on Nominate this project.
Prove to the open source community that YaBB's 8 years still stand strong representing quality forum software to the world. YaBB is one of the oldest, most stable, and most secure bulletin boards ever. Show how proud we are to still stand tall with Perl!

If YaBB wins, the project will be highlighted on SourceForge.net and will be included in SF's press release. And, as if that weren't enough, YaBB will be recognized during the awards party at OSCON. Oh, and YaBB will get an entire year's supply of bragging rights.
